I was very excited to actually see the color of this so called Red Ale. While a lot of breweries label their ale as Red Ale, the Brew Dog Red Ale deserves it. It is a clear red brownish Ale. The smell reminds on red berries. After the first sip I was kinda disappointed because tastewise there wasnt much fruityness anymore. It feels very light and leaves a sour aftertaste. The bitterness takes a white to develop but doesn't stay long. All in all it's a quite balanced brew, easy to drink but without a showdown.
